Marketing Manager
Full-Time Position

Website Administrator/Marketing Associate
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Operations Manager, Owners
Security classification: Level 2

Job Summary and Essential Functions:
 Maintains and updates website with new product, promotions, events and
information. Includes taking pictures of new products or working with suppliers to
obtain photos to update the web.
 Assists in maintaining social media accounts. Stays current on these aspects.
 Creates unique and effective advertisements for print, internet, radio and in-store use
that supports the brand strategy of the company. Works with and develops
relationships with representatives from media organizations Brighton Saddlery
utilizes. All print media for Brighton Saddlery branding is part of this office.
 Designs and carries out direct marketing campaigns with owners involvement.
 Assists with special events as required, from advertising to implementation.
 Manages company email accounts and sees that general inquiry emails are distributed
and answered.
 Keeps abreast of and anticipates industry trends and new marketing techniques.
Additional Responsibilities:
 Drives retail sales and provides marketing support service to company departments.
 Performs other related duties as assigned.
 Participate in company sponsored training and educational sessions.
Responsibility and Authority:
 Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for marketing and
advertising functions.
 Be conscientious about remaining within budget and seeking best-value marketing

 Web design experience
 Word processing and graphic design software experience.
 Copy writing, events management, strong skills in marketing and business building.
 Background in retail highly preferred.
 Computer administration and network skills are highly desired.
 Photography skills are also highly desired.
 Highly organized and efficient, able to work autonomously, and has the ability to
influence and problem solve. Excellent communication and people skills are essential
 An ability to think strategically and build relationships at all levels.
